Online credit card payment (hereinafter called "this service") is provided with Jalan.net customers who want to pay their room rate(s) through online transactions using their credit cards at the time of online reservation.
*This Service uses the service provided by "Recruit Co., Ltd." The amount of settlement will be deducted from the account for settlement in conjunction with each of your card company through "Recruit Co., Ltd."

This service is applicable to VISA, Master, JCB, Diners, and AMERICAN EXPRESS (AMEX) credit cards, as well as their afficiated cards.
Some hotels/ryokans do not accept several of these credit cards. Please confirm if your credit card is usable when you enter your credit card information at the time of online reservation.
Some hotels/ryokans accept different credit cards for online and on-site credit card payments. Please confirm if your credit card is usable for on-site credit card payments on the Hotel Info page of each hotel/ryokan.
This service is only applicable to the total amount of room rate(s) including the consumption tax and service charge.
This service is not applicable to those fees which are excluded from the room rate; local taxes such as the bathing tax and additional charges such as drinks and foods ordered on-site. Please pay fees for these items on-site. Please check fees excluded from the room rate at the Notices column of Room Plan page.
Only one time charge is available for this service. Installment plan or payment by monthly fixed installment is not available. In addition, the total amount of accommodation plan is settled for each reservation. Note that the amount cannot be divided for settlement even if the reservation includes multiple rooms or guests.
The timing of online credit card settlement will change on March 24, 2014. From March 24, 2014, the settlement process is completed at the same time when a reservation is made. Even when the reservation is made before March 23, the settlement process is performed between March 24 and 31, 2014 if the check-out day is on or after March 1, 2014.
The end of billing cycle and deduction date differ depending on the credit card company. For details, contact your credit card company.
If you change a reservation to a less expensive one, the settlement amount at the time of reservation is temporarily withdrawn and then the balance resulting from the reservation change is later refunded through the credit card company.

The settlement amount at the time of reservation is temporarily withdrawn and then the total settlement amount is later refunded through the credit card company.
Cancellation for which cancellation fees are charged based on the accommodation cancellation rules
The settlement amount at the time of reservation is temporarily withdrawn and then the balance is later refunded through the credit card company, if any.
The date on the account statement issued by the credit card company is the reservation date. For cancellation fees based on the accommodation cancellation rules, the cancellation date is shown.
Please select a Jalan.net's stay plan which accepts this service. After the reservation page transits to the credit card information page during your online reservation, please enter the necessary card information.
Please note that the page displays an error message and stops your online reservation during the process, in cases you enter wrong information, the card expires, or the card exceeds the amount limit
Please click the final confirmation button after entering all the necessary information. Your online reservation and credit card payment will complete, when the reservation completed page is displayed.
If you need to cancel your online reservation for an avoidable reason, please follow the necessary cancel procedure. The procedure differs according to the timing of cancellation.
- 1.In case you want to cancel your reservation BEFORE the closing date/time of reservation change on Jalan.net.
You can cancel your reservation online, if you want to do it before the closing date/time of reservation change on Jalan.net. Please access Jalan.net, and go to "View and Cancel my reservation" page at the top right. - 2. In case you want to cancel your reservation AFTER the closing date/time of reservation change on Jalan.net.
You cannot cancel your reservation online, if you want to do it after the closing date/time of reservation change on Jalan.net. In this case, please call your hotel/ryokan directly and cancel your reservation.
Cancel fee is the fee charged by your hotel/ryokan according to their cancel policy.
Cancel fee is applied accroding the timing of cancellation and the cancel policy of your hotel/ryokan. Please check the cancel policy written in your reservation confirmation mail or on the reservation confirmation page of Jalan.net.
You need to bear the cancel fee when it is applied and charged by your hotel/ryokan according to their cancel policy.
You can use the online credit card payment service to pay the cancellarion fee, if your hotel/ryokan accepts it.
Cancel fee is computed and displayed on the cancel confirmation page during online cancellation. Please confirm the fee and complete the procedure. In case you call your hotel/ryokan directly to cancel your reservation, the hotel/ryokan can operate the charging system so that they can charge the fee on your credit card.
*Please check the cancel fee on the View and Cancel my reservation page. Computation method of cancel fee is as follows in the case of online credit card payment.
●The cancellation fee rate applies to the accommodation plan price excluding consumption tax based on the accommodation cancellation rules.
*The consumption tax is excluded when calculating the cancellation fee.
●The calculation result is rounded off to the nearest whole number if necessary.
●For consecutive night reservation, the refund is calculated per night with reference to the cancellation date based on the cancellation rules and summed up.
Example) If the reservation for three nights from August 1, 2014 is cancelled on the check-in date (August 1).
Please note that hotels/ryokan can charge you a cancel fee in other methods than charging on your credit card, such as an invoice sent to you by post. Please ask your hotel/ryokan directly if you want to know about your cancel fee and charging method.
