2月中旬から3月上旬にかけて開催している「成田の梅まつり」。
毎年開催されている人気のまつりで今年で60回目の開催となります。

成田山公園は成田山新勝寺大本堂の奥にあり、紅白合わせ約500本の梅木を鑑賞することができます。
また、今日明日には成田山公園内の西洋庭園にて津軽三味線の演奏会や、観梅の投句コンテストも開催しておりますのでこの機会に是非ご参加してみてはいかがでしょうか。

期間：2月19日(土)〜3月6日(日)
演奏：3月5日(土)・3月6日(日)11時と13時30分の二部制。※雨天中止

※こちらの画像は先週日曜日に成田山公園で観梅した際に撮影したものです。綺麗に咲いている梅を抜粋して撮影いたしましたが、全体的にはまだ七分咲きほどでしたので、梅まつり開催後もしばらくは観梅をお楽しみいただけると思います。


The popular Narita Ume Festival is held every year from mid-February to early March.
This year marks the 60th time it has been held.

Naritasan Park is located behind the main hall of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, where visitors can admire approximately 500 ume trees in both red and white.
In addition, a Tsugaru shamisen performance and a plum blossom viewing poem contest will be held in the western garden of Naritasan Park today and tomorrow, so why not take advantage of this opportunity and participate?

Period: February 19 (Sat) - March 6 (Sun)
Performance: March 5 (Sat.) and March 6 (Sun.) in two parts at 11:00 and 13:30. *Canceled in case of rain.

*This image was taken last Sunday when we went to Naritasan Park to view the plum blossoms. I took this photo of a selection of beautifully blooming ume plum trees.
Overall, the plums were still about seventy percent in bloom, so visitors will be able to enjoy viewing them for some time after the Plum Blossom Festival.
