Thinking of Passings

This is a series of portrait paintings shown of together with minerals. Within the paintings, I draw unknown people found on old photos from 19Th and early 20th century. By painting portraits of those passing people we have no way to know who they are, and by showing them with minerals they have significances among mystics, I am attempting to reconstruct the presences of the people and to consider the relationship with life, death and faith.
