I would like to say thank you to Tsuneo Takahashi from Nakanojo Zoen for his great cooperation to make this work. More than 350 time capsules contain messages from local people, a ring of huge stones and wild cherry trees. This work will be completed in 80 to 100 years time when the trees and the stones meet. Thirty-three Kannon (Bodhisattva statues) dotted around in Takeyama will dress in red to celebrate.
I would like you to feel the relationships of “life” and “stillness” which change everyday. It's not good enough if now is happy. The future has to be happy too.
