【Ikaruga, Nara】Tea Ceremony Experience
You can learn the etiquette (bowing and greeting) in the tea room and how to make tea and eat tea sweets in Japanese traditional way.
※The tea master will not make a tea for you.
※The contents of the experience cannot be changed.
There is a Japanese garden next to the tea room, where you can enjoy tea while watching the views of various expressions in each season.
Please enjoy Japanese tradition with tea.
*About Taiseian(待清庵)
At the end of the Edo period about 200 years ago, Taiseian was built in Horyuji Temple Zenjuin by Horyuji Temple Monk Kakuken. According to Horyuji's records, Kakuken, who was familiar with the tea ceremony, wrote letters to fellow monks and invited everyone to enjoy tea.

・ 10 am to 16:30 pm
The start time is every 30 minutes.
