this time we went for the lantern festival. the hotel location is great, it is just 2 minutes from the river lantern. the view is great and charming.. just the weather was bad, it was raining whole day. this hotel location is great, you can easily go to onsen street for some shopping with just 5 minutes walk. it is a very traditional onsen hotel with 300 years history. though there was no bathroom in the room, but the whole style would give u comfort. the food is above average. the portion felt right to me . the staff is very kind and some of them could speak english. i and my family have a pleasant stay there.
