A satisfactory traditional onsen trip!

I visited Shoho's onsen 7 years ago, and here I come back with my friend to experience the entire stay with Shoho.
We booked the room in the east-wing building with a private in-room onsen and a great view to enjoy the whole landscape of Matsumoto city. The room is so fantastic with traditional onsen ryokan style yet maintaining very good shape.
Onsen is the biggest in Nagano Prefecture, which is a must-visit spot.
We ordered a special set of heavily featured local beef for dinner, which is very delicious, my friend is allergic to seafood and the resort is nicely prepared in advance. Breakfast was served at the same place with a great variety of traditional Japanese styles.
This is a must-visit place when you visit Matsumoto and surely worth coming back many times. The hotel arranged a shuttle bus to transfer customers to and from the station, so it is very convenience.

One of the best onsen houses we've been to

I am hoping this English review can attract more foreigners to try this place out!
First of all, the guestroom is spacious and there's a private onsen for each room. The location might not be as convenient as the others but there's a 7-Eleven and a Trial Supermarket nearby!
Definitely recommend their dinner! There were plenty of sashimi and food. The owners were very accommodating to our allergy notes and made sure my girlfriend didn't have any raw fish/ mushrooms in her meal.
The only thing to be wary of it that they only have outdoor showers, there's an indoor one but it's public use and the hot and cold water taps are separated.
Nevertheless to say, we highly recommend this place as the experience was lovely and the owners & staff were so kind to us.
