寒〜い冬もようやく終わりの気配となり、
春の足音が聞こえてくるようになりましたね(^o^)*

そろそろ今年の桜はどこで見ようかな・・・
と計画する時期ですね♪

今年は推定樹齢1000年以上の『三春滝桜』に
会いにいらっしゃいませんか？
三春滝桜は郡山市のとなり、三春町にある紅枝垂桜（ベニシダレザクラ）で、
大正11年に桜の木としては初めて
国の天然記念物の指定を受けた名木です。

日本三大桜の一つに数えられ、
岐阜県の淡墨桜とともに東西の横綱に位置づけられています。

例年、満開となる見頃の時期は4月中旬頃ですが、
今年の開花状況や、拝桜料、公共の交通機関でのアクセス方法など
まもなく詳細が発表されると思います♪

Winter is nearly over and Spring is just around the corner！

It is time to plan " where we have cherry blossom viewing this year" !
We cannot forget "Miharu Takizakura(waterfall cherry tree)" in Miharu Town,
neibouring town of Kooriyama, as the option of the place of cherry blossom
viewing.

Miharu Takizakura is a massive waterfall cherry tree of Pendula Rosea,
that is estimated to be over 1000 years old.
It is first desinated national treasure as a cherry tree in 1922.
