Monologue of the Light

There are a lot of wood knotholes on the walls and sliding doors of MARUI Lumberyard. They are like a constellation of stars. Wood knots are called shinibushi by lumber dealers. They fall out over the passage of time and human actions, thereby becoming wood knotholes.
Certainly there are images formed from light which is bundled by wood knotholes. We can’t usually see them because they disappear in other light. I want to visualize latent images through wood knotholes. This is an attempt to stare through the eyes of wood knotholes which keep on looking after the land for a long time.
