We are pleased to announce that Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Shizuoka Ekikita has been certified under the Japanese ESG certification program “Sakura Quality An ESG Practice,” receiving the 3 Gyoikou-Zakura rating.

This certification evaluates hotels based on their daily efforts to promote sustainability in areas such as local community engagement, cultural preservation, and environmental responsibility. The certification standards are approved by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), which develops and manages international sustainability criteria.

The certification is granted following an on-site inspection and an independent third-party audit, recognizing our hotel’s commitment to quality service and sustainable tourism aligned with Japan’s unique approach to the SDGs.
