- hotel reception has been helpful rather different from other review I have read online
- Room is spacious, clean and nicely decorated with toilet and bathroom (not common in hot spring hotels)
- onsen was nice with plastic bags available for wet items or dirty laundry (really appreciated)
- Ms Itou has been very professional and showing the authentic Japanese care + hospitality

- Perfect location
- The hotel was built long time ago but very well kept
- We had a spacious room on 2nd floor facing the street, no noise but the view was pleasant
- Both dinner & breakfast were so nice (do not miss)
- Onsen was small
- The online pictures available not do its justice and all my doubts before arrival were dismissed

二人旅、一人旅に超おすすめ　Feel the Great Nature in This Hotel

ベッドルームのみの部屋です。通常ツインですが、３人でも＋簡易ベッドで泊まれます。静かで野鳥の声など自然を満喫できる宿です。
お風呂は硫黄風呂は眺めの良い露天風呂と内湯がある離れ湯(外に出て６.7m位)　ホテル内にも天然鉱石の薬用成分の温泉風呂があります。
料理ははずれがないです。どれも超おいしい地元食材のごちそうです。
ここの一番お薦めは従業員の方たち皆が一生懸命で温かいおもてなしをしてくれること。チェックインしてしまえばOKという宿ではありません。ただ、車いすの方は残念ながら完全バリアフリーの部屋がないのと、歩くのがとても困難だという方は外の硫黄風呂に行くのは大変かなと思います。混むのが嫌なので本当は教えたくない宿です。(宿の方すみません)
I recommend you this hotel which has historical sulfur hot spring in Zao. There is a ski slope by the hotel. So you can feel great natures
in all season. 　You can sound many birds and may see Japanese serows. Evers staffs are so kind and friendly. So don't worry about you are foreigner!
