(母)ゴールデンデリシャス×(父)紅玉から生まれた「ジョナゴールド」。
アメリカ生まれの個性派のりんごで、甘さと酸味がどちらも程よく強い品種のです。
少し保存すると果実の表面が光ってベタつくようになるのですが、それは果皮からロウ物質が分泌されているためなのです

Born from the crossbreeding of (mother) Golden Delicious and (father) Jonathan, “Jona Gold” is a unique apple with a standout balance of sweetness and tartness, originating in the United States. Both its sweet and tangy flavors are strong, making it a great choice for both eating fresh and cooking. After some time in storage, the skin may become shiny and slightly sticky, which is due to the natural wax secreted from the peel.
