  The Tamagawa Fireworks Festival is scheduled to take place this coming Saturday, October 3rd.
  
  This event actually consists of two simultaneous fireworks displays held along the Tama Riverbed between Futako-Tamagawa Station and Futako-Shinchi Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line: the "48th Setagaya Tamagawa Fireworks Festival" (on the Tokyo side) and the "85th Kawasaki City Commemorative Tamagawa Fireworks Festival" (on the Kanagawa side).
  
  While fireworks festivals are traditionally held in July and August, and this event used to take place in August as well, the schedule was shifted to October to avoid the severe weather—such as sudden torrential downpours and typhoons—that frequently occurs during the summer months (as was experienced in 2017 due to heavy rain and lightning).
  
  This is a great recommendation for anyone who missed out on attending a fireworks festival earlier in the season.
  
  The nearest stations to the venue—Futako-Tamagawa and Futako-Shinchi—are directly accessible via the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line from Shibuya Station, which is the closest station to EN HOTEL Shibuya. It takes about five minutes on foot from the hotel to Exit A2 of Shibuya Station (located on Bunkamura-dori Avenue).
  The ride from Shibuya Station to Futako-Tamagawa Station takes approximately 20 minutes; however, please note that on the day of the event, a special timetable will be in effect from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, featuring increased service frequency and all trains stopping at every station.

• 秋の多摩川花火大会

  来る10月3日（土）にいわゆる多摩川花火大会が開催されます。
  
  こちらは東急田園都市線二子玉川駅と二子新地駅間の多摩川河川敷で同時に行われる「第48回世田谷たまがわ花火大会」（東京側）と「第85回川崎市制記念多摩川花火大会」（神奈川側）、二つの花火大会でございます。
  
  打ち上げられる花火は6000発ずつで計12000発！になります。
  
  花火大会といえば7月8月が本場でこちらの大会も毎年8月に行われていましたが、2017年に豪雨と落雷があり、やはり8月はゲリラ豪雨や台風など荒天になりやすいため、これを避けるため10月の秋開催となりました。
  
  「今年の夏は花火大会に行けなかったな〜」とお嘆きの方に最適解な日程です。
  
  花火大会会場最寄り駅の二子玉川駅、二子新地駅はエンホテル渋谷の最寄り駅渋谷駅から東急田園都市線で一本です。ホテルから東急田園都市線渋谷駅の文化村通りにあるA２出口は徒歩で約5分です。
  渋谷駅から二子玉川駅まで約20分ほどですが、当日14時から22時までの間は臨時ダイヤで増発され、全て各駅停車化されますのでご留意くださいませ。
