Overlooking the volcanic landscape of Jigokudani, the largest onsen in Hokkaido is fed by 5 different spa sources, offering a range of healing and wellness benefits.
Takimotokan is a ryokan (Japanese onsen hotel) established in 1858. Today, it offers guests a warm 'Heart of Hokkaido' experience, with high quality Japanese and Western style accommodation with a choice of Japanese kaiseki restaurant, kaiseki in-room dining, or buffet restaurant dining. The Grand Bath, fed by 5 of the 10 different recognised mineral springs in Japan, has 35 baths from small to large, both indoor and outdoor, overlooking the National Park at Jigokudani and the dramatic seasonal changes of the natural landscape. It is open 24 hours a day.
